1. Is Meta Align a laxative?
No, Meta Align is a daily probiotic supplement that provides live bacteria to benefit health, even relieving and managing medically diagnosed IBS symptoms.
2.Who should take Meta Align?
People who want to relieve and manage symptoms of medically diagnosed IBS. Taking Meta Align every day provides ongoing relief of medically diagnosed IBS symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, gas, and bloating.
3. Is Meta Align a drug or medicine?
Meta Align is a listed, complementary medicine in Australia, and available for over-the-counter purchase in pharmacies. When taken daily, Meta Align helps relieve and manage symptoms of medically diagnosed IBS, such as abdominal pain, gas and bloating.
4. What are the side effects of Meta Align?
In clinical studies, there was no difference in side effects between Meta Align and placebo (sugar pill). Side effects, if they occur, tend to be mild and digestive in nature. As with other probiotics, in the first few days of taking Meta Align, some consumers have reported experiencing some gas and bloating. This may be temporary while your system is adjusting to Meta Align.
5. Is there anybody who should not use Meta Align?
Individuals who have allergies to milk protein should not use Meta Align, as Meta Align contains trace amounts of milk protein. Meta Align should not be used in patients experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Meta Align should not be used by those that have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDs, lymphoma, patients undergoing long term corticosteroid treatment).
6. I have lactose intolerance. Can I use Meta Align?
Meta Align does contain milk and sodium caseinate (milk protein) and may therefore contain trace amounts of lactose. If you are lactose intolerant, ask a healthcare professional if you have concerns about the use of Meta Align.
